The annual Hatch beach trip
Every year I look forward to this trip! This year we camped at San Clemete. I absolutely love the ocean! I was little bummed this year b/c we were only able to go for a few days, instead of the whole week. We still had a really good time though. It was so great to have Tara and Jason there and to see all of my cousins. They rock! I can't believe we are all grown up now with kids of our own on the same camping trip our parents used to take us on. WEIRD!!!!
Ethan wasn't sure about the sand at first, but as you can tell, he got used to it really fast

Ellie was so cute in her polka dot hat and bathing suit. Had to get a picture (she wouldn't look at the camera)
Anna Banana, what is in your mouth?
We went to Sea World one of the days we were there. Ethan loved the sharks and the penguins. He talked about them the entire day. He fell asleep on the car ride back to camp and when we pulled into camp, he opened his eyes and said "see sharks" and went back to sleep. He also got a kick out of feeding these birds!
This is Porky! He loved Sea World too :)
At the end of our day, we went to see Shamu Rocks. As you can see we were sitting in the "wet zone". She splashed us with her big whale tale. The kids were not very happy!

At the pool
We had no choice but to go to the pool today! It is SOOO HOT!!!!! My cousin Janae is in town, so Janae, Nikki and I took all the kids swimming. Auntie Tara, Grandma Shields and cousin Elizabeth came too. It was fun. It's really nice having a family who is close. I love my cousins!!! :)

My mom's camera
Tara and I had a ball playing with my mom's camera. She has a fancy Nikon with lots of great features! We took over 200 pictures in less than an hour! It's so addicting! We make a good team, don't you think?
