Just practicing

Tara this is just a few of the pictures I took on Sunday. I'm just trying out a few things. Give me some feedback. Any ideas?

Hawaiian shaved ice...Yummmmmm

Tara, this is for you! We too have Hawaiian shaved ice with ICE CREAM! We took a family outing to the shaved ice shack and then went to our beach to relax and enjoy the weather............THE PARK! Are you envious? I know, I know it dosen't even compare, but I tried to make it sound good:) Can't wait for you to get here and eat it with me! Yeah!!! If we're not careful though, our butts will look like the one in the photo. OUCH!


Hmmmmmmm...Pina colada and banana! My mouth is watering right now just looking at these pictures! I might have to take another trip to the shack tonight!

1 week old!

Can you believe it? Finn is already a week old. STOP! I don't want him to get any older :)
We have been so blessed. He is such a good baby and as you can see, Ethan just loves being a big brother. Thank you to everyone for your meals, help and gifts! We love and appreciate you all!

The new addition to the Millette family

Well, I have finally made it to the computer! They aren't kidding when they say two is hard. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love it, but I am definately busy!!! I am happy to say that things went really well at the hospital. I am really happy to say that I actually went into labor on my own. I really wanted to experience this, since Ethan was an induction. I was to be at the hospital Thurs morning at 6:00 am to be induced, but I beat Dr. Gourley to it. I started having contractions at home thurs morning at 3:00 am! Funny huh! Finn was born at 1:12 in the afternoon. Two pushes and he was out! Yeah! We are so happy to have him home. He is such a good baby and a cute one too! :)

Little Finn is here! 7lbs. 13 oz and 20" long.

The Penny

Well, I had a little scare today..... Ethan swallowed a penny. You're probably thinking, "how typical, that kid always has something". Well at least I am. It happened in the funniest way too. He was being naughty while I was changing his diaper (as usual) and he had a handful of pennies. Well, he was yelling and laughing and one of the pennies dropped right down his throat! Let me tell you, it shut him up in a hurry! He panicked trying to get air, and I freaked, threw him over my leg and smacked his back. I couldn't tell if the penny came out or not, b/c there were about fifty other pennies already on the floor. I felt them all hoping one of them would be wet, but of coarse they weren't. So I had to take him to the doctor to make sure it wasn't lodged somewhere it shouldn't be. The x-ray was hilarious! It had already gotten down into his intestines. What a relief! New rule at the Millette house...NO MORE PLAYING WITH MONEY ETHAN!!!!

Well, everyone, I went to the doctor today and HE SCHEDULED MY INDUCTION!!! Yeah!!!! Only 9 days! I go in on thursday the 24th at 5:30 am. Sooo early, but who cares if it means geting this baby out! I am really ready to see this baby. I feel like I have been pregnant forever. I can't complain though. It's been a really easy pregnancy. I might even have to say I have kind of enjoyed it! :) I have almost everything ready to go. I washed all his blankets and set up the crib and changing table. I even put the infant seat in the car. It is sooo wierd! I can't believe I am going to have 2 boys! Well, I will post pictures of little Finn as soon as I get home!
