Uh-Oh!

Ethan's at it again. We had to take him to the emergency room on Friday to get his head stitched up! He got 15 stitches right smack in the middle of his forehead! He was playing at Grandma Shields house and hit his head on the same table he split his head open on last time. Grandma's going to get rid of that table! He's doing fine, running around like a crazy kid as usual.
Man, these kids can't keep me out of the medical facilities!

Well, I tried putting my boys in the tub together for the first time......
and as you can see it wasn't such a sucess! Ethan kept backing up in fear that Finn's butt would touch him. He was looking at it saying, "don't want it!" It was hilarious! Finn wasn't so sure about it either. I guess boys are too cool to bath together!

If this is not the sweetest baby ever! His smile melts my heart!

BIG baby!!!!

Well, I took Finn to the doctor today for his 2 month well visit and it was confirmed that my baby is HUGE!!!!!! He weighs 14lbs 6oz and is 23 3/4 inches long. That puts him int he 95th % for weight and 90th % for height. Holy cow!!!! His head though was left behing in the 25th %. So basically I have a giant baby with a little head, but he is still the cutest little, big thing ever. Like Grandma Hatch would say, "he is juicy!" Oh, and good news, the hole in his heart has closed up! Yeah!!! The doc said his heart sounded really good. What a relief!

The annual Hatch beach trip

Every year I look forward to this trip! This year we camped at San Clemete. I absolutely love the ocean! I was little bummed this year b/c we were only able to go for a few days, instead of the whole week. We still had a really good time though. It was so great to have Tara and Jason there and to see all of my cousins. They rock! I can't believe we are all grown up now with kids of our own on the same camping trip our parents used to take us on. WEIRD!!!!

We went to Sea World one of the days we were there. Ethan loved the sharks and the penguins. He talked about them the entire day. He fell asleep on the car ride back to camp and when we pulled into camp, he opened his eyes and said "see sharks" and went back to sleep. He also got a kick out of feeding these birds!

At the end of our day, we went to see Shamu Rocks. As you can see we were sitting in the "wet zone". She splashed us with her big whale tale. The kids were not very happy!

We had no choice but to go to the pool today! It is SOOO HOT!!!!! My cousin Janae is in town, so Janae, Nikki and I took all the kids swimming. Auntie Tara, Grandma Shields and cousin Elizabeth came too. It was fun. It's really nice having a family who is close. I love my cousins!!! :)

Tara and I had a ball playing with my mom's camera. She has a fancy Nikon with lots of great features! We took over 200 pictures in less than an hour! It's so addicting! We make a good team, don't you think?
